We recently purchased a used Weber grill on Craigslist however the propane tank is extremely rusty. The person who we bought it from said that they probably wouldn’t refill the tank and that we would have to replace it. I’ve heard that Weber grills use a different propane tank or adapter or something. Can we simply exchange it at the gas station for a new tank? Will it work? Is there an adapter we need? Thanks for your help!
I’m using this small, portable charcoal grill for one of the first times going camping, and I was just wondering how long I’m supposed to cook hotdogs, burgers and chicken on it? The hotdogs and burgers might be pretty easy to tell if they’re done just by looking at them, but the chicken breast probably won’t be.
I know how to cook with charcoal, you just pile them up, soak em in lighter fluid, light em and then flatten em out on the grill. Wait til they get ashy and glowy and then start cooking. I’m just not sure how long…if I were grilling chicken over gas, probably about 10-15 minutes total.
Also…I have a hibachi style grill…it has two wire grids, one is closer to the bottom than the other. I’m just wondering, am I supposed to put the charcoals at the very bottom of the grill, or on the lower grid? Or can you do either to control the heat intensity?
I will be cooking these items on separate nights…the grill is small, diameter is only about 18 inches.
I’m pretty sure that to prevent e-coli, the meat just has to be at a certain temperature, not color. Otherwise, everything at restaurants would have to be served well done.

These little portable propane heaters can be used with a 20 gal tank — is this the same system we would use on our portable gas grills?
I am looking for a Weber Q 320 gas grill. Where can I get the best deal online? How about shipping?
The Weber Spirit 310 model is the newer model that replaced the Weber Genesis Silver B model. However, the Silver B models are still available in some stores. Spirit model is newer version and produced in China. Silver B stopped production in 2006 and was made in the US. Are there advantages to buying an older product manufactured in the US over the newer one made in China?
I know about Dockweiler but want to go somewhere else…any suggestions? thanks!
I had a standard Coleman gas one with a burner on one side and a grill on the other. It just broke so I need to buy a new stove and/or grill. If I buy a portable gas grill without a burner can I put a pot, pan or coffee percolator on it? Also, if I get one of these… Is it safe to use lava rocks or briquettes? Won’t this help with heat distribution? So far the Weber Go-Anywhere Grill looks like something that might work but I am not sure about the above questions. Thanks a ton!
