Can you tell me what you think the pros and cons may be. He loves to Charcoal Grill when cooking steaks but sometimes we just want the convenience of gas. This grill has a Natural gas conversion kit with it also as we are building an outdoor kitchen and the gas pipe is already ran.
$1200 seems like a lot for a grill. But if you buy the components separately it costs a lot more. THis concerned me that I may be buy a grill that looks real nice but falls apart in one year. I would like to hear your thoughts.
Camping: What Food to buy and how to store it?
I’m going camping with a friend of mine for 4 days and 3 nights. We’re camping in a tent, (with no electricity of course). I’ve figured everything out but the food situation. We’ll be bringing a portable grill and a cooler.
So any ideas on what foods to buy and bring?
… and also how to store it best so it doesn’t spoil.

What is the best substitute for an outdoor BBQ in a Kitchen?
So i am moving into my new college apartment and we don’t really have grills. We have some charcoal barbecue pits but they don’t do the trick and are a hassle to use. How to light the briquets on the Weber Performance Grill?
When you light the Gas portion of the Weber Performance Grill, you have to make sure the lid is removed. MY QUESTION IS once you press the igniter and the flame comes on, are you supposed to replace the lid while the gas flame is lighting the charcoal ?
How would you make a tasty steak for dinner?
I am tired of going out for delicious steak. But since I’m craving for one right now, how would I make one at home? I live in a small house with no outside grill or anything. Only available tools to make one is the stove and the microwave. I’m thinking of buying those portable grills they sell at Walmart for around $50. Would those be have more of an advantage in terms of quality and taste?
Should You Give Up The Ourdoor BBQ to Solve Global Warming?
Propane or charcoal are two known sources of global warming.
Have you given up the outdoor grilling to save the planet?
Do you think everyone should be forced to find other methods of cooking?
What are your plans to grill greener?
This is for Kenny J who asked for sources.
“BANGKOK, Thailand – Huge haze clouds over the Indian Ocean contribute as much to atmospheric warming in Asia as greenhouse gases and play a significant role in the melting of the Himalayan glaciers, according to a study published Thursday.
Researchers concluded that the pollution — mostly caused by the burning of wood and plant matter for cooking in India and other South Asian countries — enhanced heating of the atmosphere by around 50 percent and contributed to about half of the temperature increases blamed in recent decades for the glacial retreat. ”

So yes, there is a link between charcoal and global warming.
Why are believers like Kenny so selective in the data they choose to work with? Sort through the data till you find the best that fits what you believe then declair this as proof?

anyone know how to get an investor for a revolutionary outdoor baking system?
I have recently designed and developed a revolutionary outdoor baking system which is the subject of a pending patent application. I have been assured by my patent attorney that significant patent protection will be granted in a timely manner.
The most significant aspect of my invention is that it allows you to bake using an outdoor heat source being either a gas or charcoal grill, even a campfire! You can bake things like breads, pastas and yes, cakes too. These items can be grilled right next to your proteins, for example, chicken, beef, pork or seafood with out transferring the flavors. “ The Pan” has been designed to contain and circulate heat evenly throughout the device allowing it to maintain an even temperature for baking. I have included a built -in thermometer and heat regulator.
“The Pan” can be used at the beach, camping or with your everyday backyard grill, all you need is a heat source!
Need snack ideas to make while camping?
My husband and I are going camping with some good friends this week who have a 9 year old daughter. She has been wanting to cook with me (i bake a lot) for a really long time. I thought it would be neat to make some snacks while we are camping over the fire. We are camping at a campsite but only have a fire pit and a small portable grill. Any ideas for what we could make? And I would prefer stuff she would be able to do.
